I have been practicing yoga since 1998 and teaching since 2005. I received my Forrest Certification in 2006. For me, yoga is a continual practice both on and off the mat. I started a meditation practice in 1974 which, with Forrest Yoga, is the foundation for growth and healing. I practice being present off the mat by using deep breath, connecting to my core and relaxing the shoulders down the back. On the mat, the physical practice has been instrumental in helping me heal two traumatic back and hip injuries. I love teaching Forrest Yoga.
