Description
The Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training is a 27-day yoga teacher training that includes 22 days of intensives (group practices) and teacher training exercises, a 3-day Anatomy Course, and a 2-day Business Course.  It is a comprehensive program for aspiring teachers, experienced teachers, and yoga students who want to work deeper within themselves.  The Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training delivers a solid foundation in the art of teaching Forrest Yoga and is the first step to becoming a Forrest Yoga Certified Teacher.

Tuition

Take advantage of our Early Bird price! Save $300 off the full tuition if you pay before May 1, 2015*! This amount includes the base tuition and the Anatomy Course! Sign up now by going to our Trainings Store.

The total standard tuition for this Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training paid after May 1 is $3,975 US.  That amount includes $3,600 US base tuition for the core curriculum and $375 US for the Anatomy Course.   A deposit of $1,987.50 US is due upon registration and the remaining $2,375 US is due 30 calendar days prior to the start of the Teacher Training, or when the training becomes full. Your spot in the training is held only upon receipt of your deposit and is guaranteed upon receipt of your full payment.

If you have already attended a Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training, you may be eligible for a $800 US discount off of the full tuition only, not the Early Bird price. Discounts cannot be combined.

Delight Your Spirit: A Forrest Inversions & Arm Balances Workshop - Sunday, September 20th 10:00am-12:30pm
Your spirit thrives on beauty, challenge, and truth. Forrest Yoga is an inspiring method that teaches us how to access our spirits and to feed it these things and more. Inversions and arm balances are challenging and exciting, rejuvenating the mind and body while increasing circulation of blood, oxygen, and energy, and, stimulating the endocrine and immune systems. Additionally, both arm balancing poses and inversions develop mental and physical strength, balance and flexibility.

The Forrest Yoga Continuing Education for Teachers is a 3-day teacher training that promotes powerful insights providing deeper integration with one's true self and helps teachers to become a more skillful, passionate, intelligent and authentic teacher, so you are better equipped to deal with challenges your student may have. Teaching authentically is much more effective and compelling for both you and your students.

Eligible Participants
Teachers aspiring to improve their teaching and personal practice and those that are ready to move deeper within themselves and increase the mental acuity needed to explore the rich tapestry of Forrest Yoga. A minimum number of years of teaching experience is not required.  We expect you to have the willingness, health and strength to commit to 100% of this teacher training. 

Training Overview
Over 3-days, with Asana and ceremony in the morning, and training and instruction in the afternoon the objective of this teacher training is to encourage trainees to develop as individuals as well as to make you a more skilled, intelligent and authentic teacher. Awareness is a vital component when developing the skills necessary to teach from your own found truths. Through daily meditation, intensives and group instruction, trainees begin to discover the voice of their own Spirit, which leads to a truly authentic life path.

Taught over nine full days, this course is open to (i) yoga instructors of all yoga traditions who have taught at least three years or (ii) graduates of the Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training. Participants must have a regular personal practice and be ready to move deeper within themselves and assist their students in the discovery of the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga.

Ana Forrest designed this program to be highly experiential. The training includes chanting, pranayama, intensive yoga practice, working with injuries, addressing the needs and challenges of students, mentoring your own practice and needs, and learning the principles of class sequencing for advanced poses. You will also be taught how to work with students at different levels and abilities and with different body types.

The Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training is a 27-day yoga teacher training that includes 22 days of intensives (group practices) and teacher training exercises, a 3-day Anatomy Course, and a 2-day Business Course.  It is a comprehensive program for aspiring teachers, experienced teachers, and yoga students who want to work deeper within themselves.  The Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training delivers a solid foundation in the art of teaching Forrest Yoga and is the first step to becoming a Forrest Yoga Certified Teacher.

The total standard tuition for this Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training is $5,175 US.  That amount includes the core curriculum and the Anatomy Course. 

If you opt to pay in 2 payments, a 50% deposit of $2,587.50 US is due upon registration. The remaining $2,587.50 US is due 30 calendar days prior to the start of the Teacher Training or when the training becomes full, whichever comes first. Your spot in the training is held only upon receipt of your deposit and is guaranteed upon receipt of your full payment.

If you have already successfully attended a Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training, you may be eligible for a 20% discount. This discount is only applicable on the standard tuition, not the Early Bird discount. Military Personnel including Active Duty, family members, retirees and veterans are eligible for a 10% discount off the standard tuition. Discounts cannot be combined.
